Starting from a flat metal sheet, Origami makes it possible to create three-dimensional objects with highly complex, multifaceted shapes, featuring asymmetric and curved geometries. The metal is cut, processed, and assembled, transforming a flat surface into unique 3D elements.
With this technology, 5W srl manufactures design objects of any type and form, suitable for a wide range of applications: from furniture to décor accessories, all the way to lighting design.
Both standalone elements—such as lamps, vases, and containers—and components integrated into more complex systems, such as suspended ceilings, can be produced.
Thanks to the innovative joining system and the ability to combine different materials, it is possible to obtain products with concave and convex shapes that, until now, could only be produced using expensive moulds.
