La prima fornitura è stata per un cliente della Germania:  ~ 1600 mq, spessore nominale 10 mm, spessore foglio alluminio honeycomb 0.07 mm, diametro cella 9 mm, lega pelli esterne 5754, lega core in honeycomb 3003.

5W Srl has resumed the production of Honeycomb-core panels. These panels are non combustible certified, both for naval and civil use.

The first supply is for a German customer: ~ 1600 sqm, nominal thickness 10 mm, honeycomb aluminum sheet thickness 0.07 mm, cell diameter 9 mm, external layers aluminum alloy 5754, honeycomb core aluminum alloy 3003.

CEFMECTP ha come obiettivo la formazione di addetti e tecnici del settore edile. Ogni anno circa 500 ragazzi degli istituti e dei corsi di laurea in architettura e ingegneria hanno la possibilità di concretizzare concetti e scenari precedentemente studiati e scoprire tecniche innovative e nuovi materiali presenti sul mercato.

5w S.r.l. will hold an educational seminar at the CEFMECTP, an organization for education and safety in construction field in Rome and province. This seminar will consist of a series of 3 laboratory classes for the education of university students from Surveyors technical colleges and from Sapienza, Roma Tre and Tor Vergata universities. These lessons will be held in the school construction yard of Pomezia (RM) in the dates of 26/04/2017, 03/05/2017 and 05/26/2017 and will have as general topic “organized building by the use of metal and non combustible structural panels”.

CEFMECTP has as its aim the education of professionals and technicians in the construction field. Each year about 500 students from institutions and architecture and engineering degree courses have the opportunity to realize previously studied concepts and scenarios, and to discover innovative techniques and materials.

An innovative use of HPL on Wallflex® has led to the creation of manufactured products made by coupling the HPL on Wallflex® even on curved surfaces with very reduced angles. This compound could be used in various ways: duvet covers, beam covers, staircase infill and lift landings.

The constant attention to customer requests, especially in the naval sector, has encouraged the Research and Development Office of 5W srl to develop new products that have been tested by the CSI of Bollate (MI). 5W srl has thus obtained two new products: the Wallflex® class C bulkhead and the Wallflex® A, compound formed by a Wallflex® + HPL panel.Wallflex® Class C bulkhead has been certified module B and module D (MED / 0497/879-MED / 0497/881).Wallflex® A has obtained the low speed flame propagation certification, module B and module (MED / 0497/548-MED / 0497/549).

Furthermore, it is important to remember our incombustibility certificate relating to the Wallflex® panel certified module B and module D (MED / 0497/548-MED / 0497/549).

Questa nuova pressa, dotata di impianto idraulico, ha una superficie utile di pressatura pari a 2000 x 5000 mm, adatta quindi anche a pannelli Wallflex di grandi dimensioni.

On 31st January 2018 5W Srl installed a new hot press for the gluing of the panels in the production area.

This new press, equipped with a hydraulic system, has a useful pressing surface of 2000 x 5000 mm, therefore also suitable for large Wallflex panels.

Le due colonne, una alta 7,5 metri e l’altra 3, sono state realizzate da 5W Srl con tecnologia OrigamX, in alluminio anodizzato color Titanium. La colonna più alta, nell’area living dell’appartamento, spicca accanto alla lampada disegnata e progettata dall’architetto Libeskind in collaborazione con il marchio  Zumtobel Group, un’azienda produttrice leader internazionale nelle soluzioni illuminotecniche professionali per interni ed esterni.

Una nuova colonna contemporanea tutta “in stile 5W”.

Following the design of the Libeskind Studio in Milan, 5W Srl has created two columns for the Penthouse apartment of the complex designed by the world-famous architect Daniel Libeskind. This building is located in the CityLife district of Milan.

The two columns, one 7,5 meters high and the other 3, are made by 5W Srl with OrigamX technology, in anodized aluminum colour Titanium. The highest column, in the living area of the apartment, stands next to the lamp designed by the architect Libeskind in collaboration with the brand Zumtobel Group, a leading international manufacturer of professional lighting solutions for interiors and exteriors.

Il controsoffitto in alluminio, realizzato da 5W Srl con tecnologia OrigamX, rispecchia a pieno le caratteristiche di identità, sostenibilità e semplicità di cui KIKO si fa promotrice.

Lo store di 200 metri quadri, progettato dall’architetto di fama mondiale Kengo Kuma, con cui KIKO collabora dal 2015, possiede la prima Private Room d’Italia, in cui sono presenti louvers verticali rotanti in alluminio, realizzati da 5W Srl.

KIKO e l’archistar giapponese Kengo Kuma sono stati molto attenti, durante le fasi di progettazione, alla tutela dell’ambiente e alla sostenibilità; ciò ha portato all’ottenimento della certificazione internazionale LEED, un riconoscimento riservato solo agli edifici eco-friendly più virtuosi, efficienti da un punto di vista energetico e realizzati con materiali ad alta riciclabilità.

5W Srl ha già realizzato il particolare controsoffitto di altri 15 negozi KiKO in tutto il mondo: il primo store è stato nel Centro Commerciale OrioCenter di Orio al Serio a Giugno 2016, seguito poi dal Centro Commerciale Mall of the Emirates a Dubai, quindi Bologna e Bruxelles. Nel Dicembre 2016 sono stati realizzati i controsoffitti di San Paolo e Hiegenopolis in Brasile, a seguire Mosca, Lille e Parigi nel Centro Commerciale Forum Des Halles. Da metà 2017 5W Srl ha realizzato poi i controsoffitti di KIKO Beirut (Libano), Madrid, Doha (Qatar) e 3 in Kuwait.

On the 21st of November 2017 5W Srl took part in the opening of the KIKOiD Store to celebrate  the 20th anniversary of the KIKO brand. KIKOiD Store is the biggest flagship store in the world and is located in the heart of Milan.

5W Srl realized the aluminum ceiling with the OrigamX technology; its expression underlines some of the main features of KIKO brand which are identity, sustainability and simplicity.

The 200 square meters store, designed by the world known architect Kengo Kuma, which has been working with KIKO since 2015, has the first italian Private Room, in which there are aluminum vertical rotating louvers made by 5W Srl.

During the design process, KIKO and the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma put a lot of care into thinking about environmental aspects and sustainability. They were able to obtain LEED, an international certification reserved to virtuous eco-friendly buildings which show high proficiency energy wise and are built with recyclable materials.

5W Srl has already realized the special ceiling of another 15 KIKO stores worldwide: the first store was in Orio al Serio Shopping Center OrioCenter in June 2016, followed by the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, then Bologna and Brussels. In December 2016, the San Paolo and Hiegenopolis ceilings were made in Brazil, followed by Moscow, Lille and Paris in the Forum Des Halles Shopping Center. Since mid-2017, 5W Srl has realized the ceilings of KIKO Beirut (Lebanon), Madrid, Doha (Qatar) and 3 stores in Kuwait.
